Student Work Examples: Scratch

There exists, in the inventory of the modern artists, tools that range from laptop computers to a simple pen. There is a gap in the range of technological complexity between these tools. This is shown in increasing trend of artists carrying messenger bags with them that hold a number of different artifacts. They need their apple laptops and their sketch journals and everything in order to create the art that they make.

Scratch is a portable tool for the creative on the go; it isn't a computer, and it isn't a sketch book, but it certainly behaves like the best of both things.
